I wanted to respond to your earlier post of felt peace flagss. They are beautiful hanging from tress and out in nature and I love the quotes, especially that of Gibran. He is my favorite of all time.
I am curious as to what you hung in the trees-the whispy flowing drap of cloth. It's rather haunting and lovely.
Thank you Cheryl. The whispy flowing cloth is an eco dyed silk with nuno felted details. It was a gift from fibre artist Yvette of Felting Your Soul. I love it so much. Her work really is wearable art, I feel honoured to have it.
~jasmine...a beautiful post and gift you received...i l♥ve how you incorporate art with the trees...makes the moment quite surreal...i hope all is well with you and yours...much l♥ve and light shining brightly upon you~
I'm obviously the only one slightly disturbed by the pictures. Beautiful, yes, but also such a sense of a presence, not quite of our world. And not entirely benign - some ancient spirit or force. So, powerful, for me, but not pleasant.

Seasons of mist
and gossamer cobwebs, pierced by the sun's rays.
Haunting, strange, other worldly beauty.x
Oh my goodness, how beautiful. The photos, the words, the felt. What a lovely gift. Theresa
Lovely, Jasmine our trees are not turning quite yet autumn makes me sad and glad at the same time!
such a wonderful post, the photos are grand and the felt is too, wonderful words to support it all!
I, too, come late to comment on the peace flags...but wanted to add:
"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent" Issac Asimov..
The nuno and tree slip and catch each other seemingly one at times. A flag of Autumn.
Hi J... gorgeous... all of it... yvettes felt... the words... & your pictures. loved your peace flags too xox

Wow! That's felt? It's ethereal!!
Hi, just letting you know that I've linked your blog to my blog action day post:) Love your crown of autumn leaves btw!
perfect combination the words, the surrounding and you wearing it walking in the woods...
I like how the sun shines through the felt and catches the softness of such.Something very comforting.
I thought I saw rabbits emerging out of the clothed tree. Amazing!
Truly mystic.
