I've been really inspired by the spring essence and bright days of late. i wanted to take the time to thank you all for still being here and being such good friends. You are appreciated and I hope you know who you are xx
Thank you Tammie. This little island is only 40 miles long but has 200 miles of coastline. It really does help shake out the cobwebs and make me feel closer to nature. Many new paths xxJ
Thank you Cranky Crone. I've just been looking at your beautiful pictures xJ
Hi Debrina, no we have not made cordial with the gorse yet. I tend to use it for dyepots instead despite the best intentions. I have a friend staying for a few days who very much like foraging and wild food so maybe we will collect some more gorse flowers this week and make the cordial x
these are gorgeous, i walked along a stretch of the coastline here on the mainland this week and was enjoying the crisp grasses and soft white sands found in these parts..pure bliss!
the 5th pic down, ahhhhh...breathing the peace.... thanks of sharing these J..glad you're enjoying your new environment sweet lady xx

Those pics remind me of growing up in rural New Zealand. Glad to have you back, I've missed your posts. I've been down without internet access for a couple of months so my posting took a hiatus also.
