India, I've had that experience too. I was extremely lucky this year I managed to get a public ticket to THE GORSEDD OF BARDS OF COR GAWR Alban Hefin (Midsummer) Gathering. It was a very small gathering, only 100 tickets were issued but I only counted 56 in attendance. Many were druids that attend each year, but a few, like me were new to this event and felt extremely privileged to be able to attend.

I'm going to write a story about my feelings about the treatment of Stonehenge and my visits, how each has differed. I thought it would be better to post pictures without words first as the stones mean so much to the hearts of each person, they really don't need explanation.

The bottom picture is a close up macro of one of the stones. I was fascinated by how this particular stone was covered in pieces of lambs wool. My partner then explained tat the starlings had been using the wool to nest in and the pieces that we could see had escaped from the nests which were higher up between the cracks of intersecting stones. I rally liked it that felt and sheep wool is having a huge comforting and creative impact on my life right now, adorned the most magical and powerful stones in my life.
