Wow! How prolific you are! How many felt pieces do you have going at a time? I have to send a link to your site to my friend Diana - she also specializes in felt and I know she'd love your work as I do.

Re: Your question on my blog - if you click on either of those logos you'll find all the info for both events. I know Día de Bloglandia will take place Nov. 1 & 2 this year, and the shrine auction will be in the spring, but lots of people tie the 2 events together. For the srine project: http://corazon.typepad.com/recuerda_mi_corazon/2009/08/time-to-shrine.html.

The body of work you are building up with painting in felt is quite wonderful - this piece is just splendid.

It´s incredible! I had never seen such a "naturalistic" image on felt, moreover, I didn´t think they were possible. I agree with LK, you are prolific!

This is wondeful. I love it. Have no idea how to felt but I feel the urge coming on. Good grief I better hold off until I finish what I have started. Your work is fantastic. Sharon

Lulu - Thank you. I'd love to see your friends blog. I love looking at other people felt creations. Anything felt, I love...

Susan - Thank you :)

Aleph - Thank you, I was surprised myself at how this piece turned out.

Sharon - Finish what you are doing before starting, for after felting there is no turning back! You will be hooked. Just look at Grrl and Dog...

Delphyne, Thank you :)

Amazing, it's unbelievable that this can be done with felt...
My sister is using felt to make a patchwork quilt for the baby she has on the way. I'll have to show her your work, though I doubt she'll be able to create pictures in the way you do, I'm sure she'll find it interesting :)

oh my gosh, jasmine... your work is exquisite - every single piece! this ram is so, well, perfectly ram like, and it has so much life and energy. wow...

Caio - It is a real compliment from an artist such as you :)

Jukka - Me too.

Suzi - Thank you. Nice to see you here.

Green Whisper - You know I took the photo's within moments of each other. I took the felt into the garden (which is very shady) and found a spot of light, unfortunately not big enough for the entire picture. I got one photo and then the sun hid. It's amazing the difference the sun can make when photographing felt.

Scrybe - Congratulations to your sister. If she is anywhere near as talented as you I think she will work magic with felt :)

Lynne - Thank you :) x

Absolutely stunning! You make lovely work.

Beautiful. So how does this work? Do you weave it and then shrink it in hot water? My mother made me a feltd bag. She knit it and it was huge and then boiled it.

she is looking sweet, your welsh sheep.

Hello Jasmine. Wow! The ram is beautiful - well done in capturing that look in his eyes. Clicking the image to full-size reveals the stunning colour combo and you just want to run your fingers through its softness!
